After the Typhoon: New Lighting Gear, Rest, and Maybe Some Street Photography

The typhoon has passed, but the heavy rain in Zhuhai continues. With not much commercial photography possible during this kind of weather, I’ve taken this opportunity to slow down, take a bit of rest, and do something useful for my future shoots.

These new tools will help me continue to refine my lighting techniques for upcoming corporate, headshot, and food photography assignments. Over the next few days, I plan to test these modifiers thoroughly. If the weather clears up, I might even hop over to Macau for some street photography. The light in Macau after the rain can be quite special — fingers crossed.
