Street Photography in Hong Kong - 17 Nov 2025
Most of today was spent walking across Hong Kong Island, and despite being only weeks away from December, the Christmas mood is barely here. No festive lights, no busy decorations, just the usual rhythm of people rushing between work and home. The city feels muted, almost holding its breath. As I photographed the streets, I noticed how the lack of holiday energy actually revealed a more honest version of Hong Kong — the everyday moments, the quiet corners, and the raw atmosphere that often gets hidden behind seasonal displays. Sometimes, the absence of celebration tells a stronger story than the celebration itself.
