Street Photography in Zhuhai, China - 31 Jun 2025
After a short trip back to Hong Kong, I received a report that a pair of my flash units were showing issues. So, I had to return to Zhuhai to sort things out directly with the dealer in Shenzhen, China. While the flashes are now in for inspection and repair, I’m grounded here for a few days, waiting.
Instead of wasting time indoors, I grabbed my small camera and headed out for a walk—even though a storm was brewing. There’s a unique beauty to Zhuhai’s streets under heavy skies. The rain-washed pavements, the way people adapt and move under umbrellas—it all becomes part of the visual narrative. These unplanned moments are what keep my love for street photography alive. Sometimes, you just need to let go of control and embrace the storm.
