Street
Street Photography in Zhuhai, China - 8 Nov 2025
Photography by Kat Lau
Walking through Zhuhai’s streets today, I sense a quiet question lingering in the air — we once said we were strong and didn’t need Western culture, but now what have we become? The scenes I capture reflect pride mixed with uncertainty — local traditions standing beside global influences, neon signs beside old tea shops. Street photography becomes a mirror, revealing how identity shifts with time, progress, and pride. It’s not about judgment, but reflection — about seeing who we are now through the city’s face.
